Karl SoCal is a Southern California-based mixed media artist who rose to prominence in 2018 with his innovative use of repurposed 12-gauge shotgun shells. Known as the first artist to chrome a shell and incorporate it into fine art, Karl’s work has gained international attention and is part of several celebrity collections. His striking portraits include icons like Robert De Niro, Jack Nicholson, and Stan Lee, with an upcoming "Icons Series" featuring Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, and James Dean. To date, he has repurposed over 130,000 shells, establishing himself as a rising force in the street art world.
