Larissa Morais, born and raised in Moscow, first pursued music before discovering her passion for painting while helping her sister with an art assignment. She later earned a BFA from the Moscow Theatrical Arts Institute and studied restoration of 15th- and 16th-century paintings. Influenced by life itself, Larissa paints with a delicate technique using thin layers of oil on black canvas, capturing hyper-realistic human figures with emotional depth and architectural precision. Her work begins with a sketch and evolves into lush, sensual compositions that reflect both the subject and her own spirit. For Larissa, each painting is a love affair—her favorite is always the one she’s working on.
