Sun Angel

Sun Angel is calm in a vibrant environment of music and light.

She gazes straight ahead in her own direction, watching the road for danger, solving obstacles like popping bubbles, and she does not let down.

I call her Sun Angel, because her light emanates from within.

She's powerful enough to be effortless.

This painting is a Talisman that exudes protectiveness, vision, gentleness and warmth, it's all in her eyes.

She's painted with raw pigment and oils, tubed oils and oil crayon on canvas. The colors in this piece conjure the music of a wandering explorer who has covered enough ground to tell you about distant lands where nobody's been.

When I look at this painting, I get lost in wondering where it is that she's looking. I feel she's asking me to reflect on where I've been and to meditate on where I'm going.

The Sun Angel is a very important Angel. She's always wide awake, peacefully looking out to the future, watching down the road for trouble.
