Her eyes are engaging and comforting, depending on the light. She's looking directly at you and beyond you at the same time, assuring you that she's watching your back. The music of the colors glows with an energy all her own.

The blues mixed from pigment, deep under the greens of oil crayon, the light wash of white over the underpainting, the words, all invite a closer look through the layers down to the exposed sheet metal underneath.
