Think
Think
This painting is a story about choices.
It's a map to using a calm mind to Think about the steps you take in life, in order to be free as a butterfly in heart, mind and soul at the end of your life, so that you can look back, fulfilled.
The story begins with a young person in a state of personal meditation and reflection, envisioning a future life of love and family. This vision is symbolized by the blue bird above the family.
Next, the person envisions the long game with two possible routes to take.
The first route is on the bottom right corner. It's an open door to a vast darkness, symbolizing the temptation to glide through life and not Think about each step you take.
The skull with insightful eyes and a fire still burning in its hat symbolize attainment of a life well lived. The skull's eyes invite reflection, asking if you lived your life true to your vision.
The blue bird above the skull symbolizes that fulfillment is attainable if you live moment to moment, one step at a time, considering the meaning of each step you take.
Lastly is the butterfly with the head of a bird symbolizing attainment of the vision.
The butterfly is being led by a small red block printed symbol for Eternal Love, reminding us to pay attention to the small moments, as the small moments are sometimes the most potent.
This block printed symbol for Eternal Love is my signature.
