Takashi Murakami: Stepping on the Tail of a Rainbow Catalogue

Stepping on the Tail of a Rainbow (Hardcover, 2022) is the official catalogue for Murakami’s first solo exhibition at The Broad in Los Angeles. The show presented 18 major works, including 100 Arhats (2013) and In the Land of the Dead, Stepping on the Tail of a Rainbow (2014). Featuring essays by Ed Schad, Joanne Heyler, and Pico Iyer, the book offers a comprehensive look at Murakami’s practice. The exhibition later traveled to the Cleveland Museum of Art in 2025.  Exclusive to The Broad.
