François Fressinier (born 1968 in Cognac, France) is a contemporary figurative painter known for his poetic, symbolic portraits—often of serene women set against textured, dreamlike backgrounds. Raised by portrait-photographer parents, he was influenced early by classical art and historical settings. Trained at École Brassart, his work blends Old Master techniques with modern emotional depth. Inspired by Rembrandt, Bonnard, and the Pre-Raphaelites, Fressinier’s paintings explore beauty, light, and introspection. His art is exhibited and collected internationally.
