Born in Pasadena in 1991 and raised on Maui, he discovered a passion for creativity early on—one that ultimately outshined his interest in sports during high school. His formal training began at Orange Coast College and continued at Cal Poly Pomona, where a transformative screen-printing course and the guidance of influential professors helped solidify his commitment to a life in the arts.
Just before graduating, he underwent a significant brain surgery—an experience that deepened his appreciation for creative expression and reinforced his dedication to pursuing art with purpose.
Today, he teaches photography, drawing, and painting at Maui High School. Balancing the roles of artist and educator, he continues to refine his practice while inspiring the next generation of young creatives.
