Scotty Ziegler

Scotty Ziegler has never done one thing at a time. Custom cars, toy invention, fine art, all of it self-taught, starting with screen printing, architectural drawing, and airbrush photo retouching back when that meant a steady hand, not Photoshop.

For years, he ran a toy invention business with his wife Angie, developing products like the dripless sipper cup, ideas that were often a decade ahead of the market, built at the intersection of engineering and design. When the toy industry slowed, Scotty finally turned to something he'd always meant to do: paint. Angie told him not to wait for retirement, and when he asked what to paint, she gave him one word: women. That's the whole origin story of his current body of work.

His fine art carries the same hands-on instinct as everything before it, metalsmithing, jewelry making, and fabrication all show up in pieces that build outward into three dimensions rather than staying flat on canvas. He calls the result "Tastefully Edgy," raw, elegant, and impossible to mistake for anyone else's work.
