Honest Abe

Lincoln, his face drawn in contour lines of pink and blue, the way a map draws a mountain. A sunset behind him. A purple bow tie and a polka-dot shirt. Joshua Roman painted it for America's 250th, and instead of a monument he made a portrait of a man who still looks like he's listening. Carved dark frame, glossy resin finish.
