Jealous, Original
by Thalo Halo
A wink, a martini, a polka-dot headband, and the line "I'm jealous of everyone who hasn't met you" in a green cloud beside her. "Bless your heart" runs up the left side in pink, which is the same sentence in Southern. The top edge spells a word in periodic-table squares, bismuth, technetium, hydrogen, for anyone who reads it. TV Guide and Good Housekeeping fill in the corners, and the atomic starbursts are straight off a 1958 kitchen wall.
It's a painting about saying the rudest thing in the nicest voice, and the woman in it has clearly done this before. Bar cart, powder room, or the office of someone who answers emails like that.
